These were 3 great locations to visit and tour. Also the Van was clean and we had an excellent, leisurely, expensive lunch we paid for but thats not why we were on the tour. The tour guide, Neal, however was terrible! We would not do a tour with him again. He was repeatedly late: 15 minutes late to pick us up from our hotel lobby, then 10 minutes late from time he told us to meet him after our 1 ½ hours at Windsor Castle, then 10 minutes late from the designated meeting time after our Bath tour. and then we arrived nearly 10 minutes after the Stonehenge 6 pm time closing time to start our tour there! For the last one he parked in a handicapped parking near the entrance because he wasnt sure wed even be able to get into the venue to start our tour. He did successfully cajoled the entrance staff to let us go in for our tour there, however, despite being late.He is opinionated and not an informative, neutral tour guide while traveling with him. Much of the often 1-1.5 hours traveling from site to site with him were either in silence or him telling us about his storied military history, the 50 dogs on his farm, and his political views. Instead, we believe he should have been telling us about the areas we were driving through, the history of the area and/or contemporary information about the area we were in.He took us to a secret lunch venue where no one else was and where we spent 1 1/2 hours in the countryside. But then he only gave us 30 minutes to do the Bath tour, our next stop. He also didnt accompany us on the tour of Bath. The times should have been reversed with only 30 minutes for lunch and 1.5 hours at Bath. Lunch was excellent but we didnt pay 700 for this tour for 4 people for an excellent, leisurely lunch that also cost us significantly. We also only went in one church in Bath and didnt have a tour of Bath as the tour overview promised. It obviously wasnt the 2-hour stop in Bath as your Overview indicated it would be.Instead of having us use the free audio tour handsets at Stonehenge he insisted on leading us and explaining everything about Stonehenge himself. Then he gave us his own personal theories about how Stonehenge came to be. He repeatedly said that he didnt have anything specific research or experience to base them on. From our own tour books we know what he was saying was patently not true.Water bottles were scattered on the floor of the back of the van, not in a cooler or cold. He offered water when we first got in the van at our hotel but never again. No snacks were offered either which we thought might be. We had to ask repeatedly about his Wi-fi as he never turned it on or offered it without prompting we knew from the information about out tour it was to be included.Entire tour took 11 hours. The order was: Hotel pickup, Windsor, drive for 1 ½ hours to Lunch, drive another hour or so to Bath, drive 1 ½ hours to Stonehenge, drive to Woodhenge, and then drive 2 hours back to hotel in London.Had he ever given this tour before? He truly was terrible. Unless someone teaches him otherwise, we would not recommend you use him any more.

Very good and enjoyable day with our guide Jay. He was a little late showing up due to traffic but it didn't really effect our day. He showed up with lots of snacks and water in the car and let us know about the day. In discussing what time we would return to hotel if we went to Bath we asked what some other options were. Jay gave us about 4 options to do instead of Bath and I'll get to that later. We started by visiting Windsor Castle. Jay was not allowed in which I don't understand, but prior to entering he gave us tips on what to do once inside. We saw other tour guides from Viking Cruises, but we used the audio tour and it worked out fine. It is obvious why the Queen prefers Windsor over Buckingham Palace. It is a wonderful castle and the tour takes you through some amazing rooms. Next stop was Stonehenge. Jay has extensive knowledge about Stonehenge and he shared much of it with us. It was one of those wow moments for us to see such an iconic place and have a guide sharing lots of facts about it. Now back to the options instead of Bath. Jay let us know we wouldn't return until almost 10PM if we went to Bath. He had no problem taking us there, but we asked him for other options. He gave us 3 or 4 things we could do. We opted for his suggestion about visiting Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta. AMAZING! I am so glad we stopped there. We had no idea it existed and because of Jay's suggestion we got to see a piece of history that is the foundation of every democracy in the world. Jay was not able to join us in the Cathedral as tour guides were not allowed in there either. The day was very enjoyable and Jay dropped us off at Harrod's after suggesting to try the rotisserie chicken, another great suggestion.I give 4 stars instead of 5 for the value of this trip. It was a little pricey, about 200 more than most private tours, but we did travel quite a distance and the extra cost paid for the car and miles driven. Jay had a pretty easy day as he only accompanied us into Stonehenge and didn't go into the other two venues with us. I would still recommend this tour to avoid being crammed on a bus with 40 other people, but definitely consider going to Salisbury instead of Bath.

The day was wonderful. Neil our tour guide was a delight. So informative and great advice on how to get the best experience.

The only reason I am giving a four star review is that it is almost impossible to see these three places in one day. I give our tour guide Neil 5 stars however because without him we would not have even made it to Windsor Castle before the gates shut for the day. We were rushed from the beginning by terrible traffic on the way to Bath. We were also limited by theater tickets in the evening. Each of these places is worth a visit, but I strongly suggest you limit yourself to two out of the three. One could happily stay in Bath for a full day and even overnight. It is a fantastic medieval town with loads to see. Stonehenge and Windsor Castle are very doable in the same day, and one would have plenty of time at each site. As it was my daughter and I practically jogged through each place. Our guide Neil was a miracle worker with the time he had. He was knowledgeable and charming, and a perfect person to spend the day with. Lastly, he got us to our theater in time for the opening act!

We had a great tour and wonderful tour guide! Definitely book directly with the vendor on this trip because it's a lot less than on this site. Even though the site has a low price guarantee, they don't honor it if the vendor sells in a different currency - so buyer beware! Other than that, I though it was a great tour and would book with the vendor directly again.

Fantastic day for my 50th birthday to be hosted by Jay on this trip. Vehicle was well equipped with a wide range of snacks and drinks to keep us fuelled for the day bar a lack of Marmite crisps :. Jay kept us entertained and made the day very special. Extremely knowledgeable and informative guide and happy to change the schedule to meet with our requirements. Would recommend without hesitation. Great day

This private tour was perfect for us with lots of flexibility. Our guide was fantastic. He was very informative and went out of his way to make sure that we're happy. We left our charger in the car and he came back and delivered it back to us late in the evening after a long day of travel. Great Service!!!

Absolutely cannot say enough positive about Jay and spending the day with him. Seriously, a trained archeologist as a tour guide? And who knew archeologists had such a great sense of humor. He picked us up at our hotel at the designated time and didn't stop until he dropped us off that evening. We were able to adjust the trip a bit on the fly and visit some other interesting sites along the way, which made the day even more pleasant. I wish we had booked these guys for our entire trip to England and France!

This tour was amazing and our guide, Neil, was the best! Not only did we see everything listed on this tour but he showed us additional surprises when he found out we were returning home the next day. His knowledge of the history of each site was outstanding and we all really learned a lot about the sites and the people who walked there before us. Neil spent a lot of time and effort in making sure we got the most out of the areas visited. We had dinner in a 13th century pub and the food was so delicious and affordable. When, not if, we return to England, we will certainly call Neil for our private tour needs.

Perfect tour! Loved Windsor Castle. City of Bath charming and the tour guide's recommendation of Crystal Palace was spot on. It was an awesome pub! Despite freezing rain at Stonehenge our guide was cheerful and upbeat! Five stars!

We were a party of 5 and had a wonderful time! Ask for Neil if you want to join this trip. He is full of knowledge and knows when and where to go. He took us to a wonderful place for lunch and the food was fantastic! Thank you Neil!

The BEST tour we have taken, and we have taken MANY tours. Our guide, Neil, was professional, friendly and EXTREMELY knowledgable. Who needs a guide book? All of our questions were answered accurately, promptly and in detail by Neil. He is very passionate about this beautiful country and it shows in the care he takes to ensure you get the most out of your tour. He made every effort to ensure our family two adults, a child and a senior were all comfortable, safe and having fun! The best day that we spent in the UK was spent on this tour. Thank you for making it such a wonderful experience!

I chose this tour because of reviews. It was even better than expected. I thought 3 sights would be too much but the whole day and countryside drive was amazing. Linton is an excellent guide. He is too nice (just ask him), fun and professional. His enthusiasm and knowledge made all the difference.

I have Neil as our guide as it seem he was highly recommended. It is true and confirmed Neil was the best guide He ensured both me and my son have a god and relaxing time. Neil is indeed full of knowledge of the history of each site and we are especially loved how he explained Stonhenge is such details to us and we truely learned from him and he is so patient and never rush us from site to site. Now I can fully understand why everyone recommended Neil for this tour cause he is a amazing and fun guy. Most important of allwe feel totally safe under his care.

This tour was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Linton our guide. He was knowledgeable and professional. The day was well paced, we got to see all three attractions and didn't feel rushed. Linton provided a wealth of information on Stonehenge and Bath and really added to the experience.

Booked a private tour to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Bath. Ended up skipping Bath as we felt the tour would be too long. Lynton was our tour guide and driver. He picked us up on time and was very knowledge on all matters. Really enjoy his company and really enjoyed the tour.

We had a great experience with our guide Neil, we started early in the morning and went directly to Windsor, since our trip was in months with low tourist season, we had no problems on entering very early we had time to visit the whole Castle and even the Windsor surroundings. After that Neil took us directly to Stonehenge, its a quite long trip but we had time to chat and Neil explained us many things we didn't understand about the castle, Stonehenge and other pieces of British history we didn't knew, we stop for a Sandwich and we took our sandwich with us in the car.Stonehenge was magnificent, Neil saves us there approximately an hour thanks that we brought us to the front gate instead of using the coach provided by the Royal Heritage. He knew everybody there and he showed us a couple of things you could not have notice if you go by your own or without a very professional guide like Neil. After that we headed our way to Bath, getting there was also a little long but worth, Neil is an incredible nice person very well instructed in many fields of British History. Once we where in Bath he took us to a large Church and the to Bath, again showed us some spots you could not have notice unless traveling with an expert like him. With his advise we did a fantastic shop in the area and after that he took us to dinner to a magnificent place, where we enjoyed a very nice meal. Please be advised that will be a very long day, so dont plan nothing for the evening since you might not have time or energy for anything else this day.I can not say enough good things about Neil and his kindness.

Private tours are all about the guide and Jay is the best. He not only knows all the ins and outs of getting the most out of each place visited, he also takes great pride in the service he provides. Jay is knowledgeable about each venue and has a fantastic sense of humor that kept all of us laughing the entire trip. Windsor Castle and Stonehenge are must sees if you're in England. We decided to substitute Lacock for Bath, which is the beauty of a private tour. Lacock is a preserved village where many well-known films have been shot including Harry Potter and Downton Abbey. It's fun to see the exact places many scenes were filmed. This tour was a great value and I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful day - Jay was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and lots of fun. We got to Windsor Castle right before opening and followed his advice on what to see first - avoided the crowds! Beautiful place - especially the Doll House which was incredible. Then on to Stonehenge - Jay gave us great background on it, took us to see where the nearby village would have been and showed us Woodhenge - learned lots and it was all amazing! Finally to Bath - the baths were fascinating and we walked around town - very pretty place. One of the best tours I've done - and Jay was awesome. Nick was with him - learning - and he was so pleasant as well. Thanks from the 3 Canadians!!

We loved doing the private tour. Our guide Jay was great! He was very knowledgeable and high energy. He gave us lots of options for things to see during the day and had great advice for how to see the most at each attraction. The pick-up and drop-off was so convenient. We had a great day out!

I made the mistake of booking this tour for a Bank Holiday, and without our guide, it would have been a total disaster. He knew everyone everywhere we went, helping us navigate through crushes of people to see everything we wanted to see. Moreover, the man was so brilliant that it was almost intimidating. I learned so much from him that I am still digesting the information. This is exactly the experience I was hoping for in every way. As far as I am concerned, there is no better way to explore new places.

This was an outstanding tour with an outstanding guide. Lynton picked us up at our accomodation promptly at 8:45am and he told us things we should do in London as we drove our of the city toward Windsor Castle. He dropped us off right a the castle entrance and told us what to do first and when to exit the castle so that we could see the changing of the guard that day in front of the castle. Then we headed to Stonehenge and he had snacks for us in the car that we could eat along the way. At Stonehenge he took us to the site all the while explaining history and details about the site that we would not have gotten otherwise. He took photos of us the entire day that were the best ones of the whole trip. Then it was off to Bath where he dropped us off to have a late lunch on our own and tour the Roman baths on our own. We met up later then toured Bath itself and got even more insight to this beautiful area. It was a very long day but well worth it as we got to see and do so much with a knowledgeable guide.
